Roasted Red Skin Potatoes, Green Beans, and Mushrooms

Roasted Potatoes, Green Beans, & Mushrooms

Cast of Characters

3 lbs red skin potatoes
1 lb green beans
1 lb mushrooms
1/4 c of melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon Badia Complete Seasoning*
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Badia Complete Seasoning*

*If you haven't used Badia Complete Seasoning you need to try this amazing seasoning. Not every store has this but I have found it at Walmart and some grocery stores. We put it on everything, steak, chicken, even salad it really is good on so many different foods.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  Wash the potatoes, green beans, and mushrooms. Cut the potatoes into quarters. Melt 1/4 cup of butter. In a large bowl mix together 1/4 cup of melted butter, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and 1 teaspoon Badia complete seasoning. Add 3lbs of cut potatoes to the butter, seasoning mixture. Mix until butter and seasoning are covering the potatoes. Place the seasoned potatoes onto a large cookie sheet. Bake the potatoes for 30 minutes uncovered.  While the potatoes are cooking cut the green beans into bite size pieces. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Use the same large bowl the potatoes were mixed in. Add 2 tablespoons of melted butter and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon Badia complete seasoning. Mix butter and seasonings together and add green beans and mushrooms. Toss together until the vegetables are coated with the butter mixture. Wait until the potatoes have cooked 30 minutes. Add the green beans and mushrooms on top of the potatoes. Bake an additional 30-40 minutes.

Easy Hot Turkey or Ham Sandwiches

 Easy Hot Turkey Sandwiches

Cast of Characters:

1 dozen King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1/2 lb Honey Roast Turkey Breast
12 Slices of Provolone cheese
1 stick of Butter (1/2 cup)
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Yellow Mustard

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

Cut each of the rolls in half. Place the bottom half in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Place turkey breast on each of the rolls.

Place one slice of provolone cheese on each sandwich. Place the top half of each roll on the sandwiches.

Place butter in a small pan. On low melt butter, add brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard. Mix well and bring the sauce to a boil this will only take a few minutes.

Pour the sauce over each of the sandwiches.

Place in the oven and bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

***Variations: Replace the turkey with ham. Replace the provolone cheese with Swiss. I have tried ham and that is delicious. Another good idea is doing a tray of half turkey and ham. I have also tried the Swiss cheese and it doesn't seem to melt as well as the provolone cheese.   I also put 15 sandwiches in the pan when I took these pictures. I was making for a birthday celebration. I like making just a dozen at a time they are easier to serve.

Hope you enjoy these sandwiches as much as my family and I do.
